Services & Responsibilities

The Human Resources Department provides human resources services for active employees, retirees, and the public. Programs and services include:

• Benefits Administration
• Classification and Compensation
• Employee Relations
• Labor Relations
• Recruitment and Selection
• Safety and Workers' Compensation

The City works with the following employee groups, enhancing labor relations for all members: Hemet Firefighters Association (HFFA), Hemet Non-Sworn Police Employees Association (HNSPEA), Hemet Mid-Managers Association (HMMA), Hemet Police Officers Association (HPOA), Hemet Police Management Association (HPMA), and Hemet Non-Safety Unit (SEIU).
