Bank Robbery Arrest


On September 4, 2012 the Union Bank at 800 E. Florida Ave., in Hemet was robbed by a lone black male suspect. The suspect fled on foot and was not located. Today at approx. 9AM, a 17 year old male juvenile suspect was arrested in the 1200 block of west Latham Avenue, and booked by the Hemet Police Department.

The juvenile is a documented gang member out of Moreno Valley, CA. He will be charged with the bank robbery and have gang enhancement charges filed as well. His name will not be released at this time due to his age.

Captain Webb said, “This case is a great example of our officers and detectives working together to solve a high profile case and get a dangerous criminal of the streets.”
