Wanted Felon Arrested with Stolen Vehicle and Firearm.
On 10/23/12 at 1:30PM, officers responded to the 2700 block of W. Devonshire Ave., to assist the Parole Apprehension Team with a parolee at large. The team was looking for a suspect and saw him get out of a vehicle and go into an apartment complex in the area. The Parole Apprehension Team requested assistance from Hemet PD and officers responded to help look for the suspect.
The suspect was located inside one of the apartments and taken into custody. Investigation revealed that the vehicle had been previously reported stolen and that there was a previously reported stolen firearm inside of the vehicle. Ammunition, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia was located inside of the apartment.
Arrested:
Don Aguirre, 37 years old, Beaumont resident.
Charges:
Felon in possession of a firearm
Felon in possession of ammunition
Possession of stolen property
Parole violation
Aguirre is being held without bail and will be transported to the Riverside County Jail.
This is another great example of multiple agencies sharing resources within the valley.
