ATTEMPTED MURDER SUSPECTS ARRESTED
On March 17, 2013, at about 6:59 PM, the Hemet Police Department received a 9-1-1 call of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 600 block of N. Alessandro Street. The caller reported that a male subject was being assaulted with a bat.
Officers responded to location and found a male subject on the ground with signs of being struck and stabbed. The suspects had fled the scene prior to the arrival of officers. The victim was treated by Hemet Fire Department and AMR personnel and was transported by Mercy Air to a local hospital due to his injuries.
The investigation led officers to a home in the 600 block of Sonrisa Street where they found Anthony Arriola and the second juvenile suspect hiding inside the residence. Anthony was positively identified as the suspect with the bat by a witness.
Hemet Police Department detectives responded and took over the investigation. After conducting their investigation, Anthony Arriola and the juvenile suspect were charged with attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

Charges: Attempted Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Arriola was booked into the Southwest Detention Center and held on $1,000,000 bail.
15 year old juvenile resident of Hemet
Charges: Attempted Murder and Assault with a Deadly Weapon
The juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall for the above listed charges.
