Roof-Top Burglary Suspects Apprehended
On Friday, April 12th at about 12:30AM, Hemet Police Officers responded to the 700 block of E. Florida Avenue regarding a business alarm. Officers determined two businesses had been burglarized. Searches of the interior of the businesses were conducted. Two suspects were located during the search and resisted officers. One suspect was taken into custody with the assistance of Hemet Police Canine Rosco and his handler, Officer Maddox.
Channing Halley, 21 years of Hemet, was arrested for 2 counts of burglary and resisting officers. Adam Eder, 18 years of Hemet, was arrested for 2 counts of burglary, resisting officers, possession of methamphetamine, and a violation of probation.
Halley was transported to Riverside County Jail and held on $5,000 bail.
Eder was transported to Riverside County Jail and held on $30,000 bail.
