On 10-12-13 at approximately 2:42 pm, Hemet Police Officers responded to a business in the 300 block of N. San Jacinto Street reference homeless subjects to the rear of the location involved in a disturbance.
Upon arrival, officers located two subjects outside. One of these subjects (Claude Clarke) was found to be intoxicated and was arrested. During a search of his person, officers discovered two plastic pour spouts that are normally associated with businesses that offer in-restaurant liquor purchases by the glass.
Officers checked a near-by Steak House that is currently closed. Discovering the front door locked but not secure, officers entered the location and noticed that property had been staged near the front door. A suspect (Victor Servin) was located further inside the business hiding under a table. After clearing the remainder of the location, officers discovered that several of the rooms had been ransacked.
Claude Clarke was arrested for drunk in public and was booked into Hemet PD Jail.
Victor Servin was arrested for burglary and was booked into Hemet PD Jail. Servin was later transported to Riverside County Jail.
