[ARCHIVED] Stolen Vehicle from County Area Recovered Quickly

Hemet Police Arrest San Jacinto PD Stolen Vehicle Quatrell Knight

On 10-19-13, at approximately 4:15am, Hemet Police Dispatchers aired a "Be On the Lookout" for a reported stolen vehicle from the County area of Hemet that had just occurred. Riverside County Sheriff Deputies were taking the report from the victim when Hemet Police Officer Doug Klinzing spotted the vehicle as it turned west onto Devonshire Avenue from Hamilton Street in the city of Hemet.

The driver continued west on Devonshire and then turned into an apartment complex in the 2700 block of W. Devonshire Avenue. Additional officers arrived and assisted with taking the driver into custody without further incident. Riverside County Sheriff Deputies also responded to the scene and soon took custody of the suspect. The vehicle was recovered and returned to the victim.

Quatrell Knight, 23 years from San Jacinto
