[ARCHIVED] Man Arrested for Drug Sales at School

Hemet Police Alex Gold Arrest PD Drugs

On 11-01-13, at about 8:00am, Hemet Police Officer Tim McGinnis contacted an 18 year old man at Tahquitz High School in Hemet. Officer McGinnis is the School Resource Officer and maintains an office at the school.

The man, who is not a student, was found to have several grams of marijuana on him. The marijuana was packaged in such a manner that warranted charges of Possession of Marijuana for Sales.

The Hemet Police Department partners with the Hemet Unified School District and assigns officers to each Middle and High School within the City. The officers maintain offices on campus and work daily with students, parents, and staff.

"I recognized him as a senior from last year. I knew he shouldn't be on campus." Officer Tim McGinnis said.

Arrested:
Alex Gold, 18 years of age from Hemet.

Charges:
Possession of Marijuana for Sales
