[ARCHIVED] Traffic Collision Claims the Life of Motorcyclist

Fatal Traffic Collision

On July,25, 2014, at 8:21 pm, Hemet Police dispatch received a 911 call of a serious injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and motorcyclist, in the 3800 block of west Devonshire Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers and medical personnel found the motorcyclist lying in the middle of the roadway unresponsive. Life saving measures were attempted but the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Hemet Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Bureau responded to conduct the investigation. Devonshire Avenue was closed from approximately 8:37 pm till approximately 10:47 pm.

The name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
