Hemet Police Investigate Double Homicide
On 10/22/2014 at about 11:28 pm, The Hemet Police Department began receiving 911 calls from the area of the 400 block of Winthrop Dr. Hemet. Callers advised that 2 subjects appeared to be deceased inside of a residence at the location. Hemet Police officers responded to the area and located a 44 year old male and a 12 year old male deceased at the location. Hemet Police Investigators were summoned to the location and assumed the investigation.
The investigation is active and ongoing. At this point it appears that the attack was not random and the suspect may be known to the victims. Due to the fact that the investigation is still active and ongoing, no further information will be released at this time.
