[ARCHIVED] Prescribed burn in the San Jacinto Mountains

The Forest Service plans to begin a prescribed burn in the San Jacinto Mountains near Anza on Wednesday, Jan. 31.  Thomas Mountain is north of Anza, between Highway 371 and Highway 74. The burn is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and could continue through the weekend.
