[ARCHIVED] Tutor training Help change a persons life!
Make a difference in a neighbor's life. Be an Adult literacy tutor.
Imagine not being able to read to your children, read a menu at a restaurant, maybe you want to fill out a job application or get a driver's license. The Hemet Public Library Adult Literacy Department has over 16 adult limited literacy students waiting for someone to help them meet their goals.
We provide the training and match you with a learner. Tutor Training will be held in the Library Literacy Center, Thursday March 22 at 9am. Be sure to pick up an informational packet and schedule a meeting with Lea to review.
You will be required to be fingerprinted and have a background check done by the Hemet Police Department. There is a fee that you are required to pay at the time of fingerprinting.
