CITY OF HEMET NOTICE OF RECRUITMENT UPCOMING VACANCIES FOR CITIZEN ADVISORY BODIES IN THE CITY OF HEMET |
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Hemet is currently conducting recruitment to fill nineteen (19) vacancies in the coming year on the City’s Planning Commission, Hemet Public Library Board of Trustees, Mobile Home Rent Review Commission, Measure U Citizen Oversight Committee, and the Infrastructure Commission:
Three (3) Planning Commissioners – Term Expiring in June, 2023
Two (2) Hemet Public Library Board Trustees – Term Expiring in June 2024
One (1) Mobile Home Tenant Representative Commissioner – Term Expiring in March 2023
One (1) Mobile Home Park Owner Representative Commissioner – Term Expiring in March 2023
Three (3) At-large City Resident Representatives Commissioners for the Mobile Home Rent Review Commission – Term Expiring in March 2023
Seven (7) Measure U Citizen Oversight Committee Members – Term Expiring February 2023
Two (2) Infrastructure Commissioners – Term Expiring October 2023
Those interested in applying must submit an application to the City Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2020. Recruitment will remain open until filled. An application for appointment can be requested from the City Clerk’s Office, City of Hemet, 445 E. Florida Ave., Hemet, CA 92543, telephone number (951) 765-2307 or on the City’s website at the following web address: hemetca.gov/CitizenAdvisoryBody.
Interviews with the City Council are anticipated to take place a month before a vacancy occurs prior to a regularly scheduled City Council Meeting. The City Clerk’s Office will confirm the date and time of the interviews with the applicants.
