How should I dispose of needles / sharps?
Place them in a secure rigid plastic jug type container (like a bleach or laundry detergent container). Then, tighten the lid and secure it with tape. Label the container "Sharps / Needles" or "Biohazard" and take it to a Riverside County Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event or Sharps Kiosk. Visit www.rcwaste.org for more information and a schedule of collection events.
