Personal Bio:
Jackie Peterson grew up on a farm in North Dakota and graduated from Brown Institute of Broadcasting and Palmer College of Chiropractic, Technician Division. She later decided to enlist in the Navy and retired in 2009 as a Yeoman Chief Petty Officer (E7) with 20 years of service. Before retiring in Hemet in 2012, she was the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Engineering at General Atomics. Sadly, her husband passed in 2014.
Council Member Peterson volunteers in many activities in her community and continues to serve the military. She is on the Board of Governors for Veterans Mobility Projects, Ambassador-at-Large for Cloverlane Foundation, supports Veterans Village at March Air Reserve Base, and is an active member of American Legion Post 53.
