During construction, City Inspectors provide review services for public and private improvements, grading, parking lots, water and sewer systems, storm drain, bridges, street lights, pedestrian lights, traffic signals, landscape districts, parks, road way, curbs, gutters, sidewalk, handicap ramps, and more.
Inspections are also provided for work done under encroachment permits in the City right-of-way. This would include traffic control, road closures, trenching, road repair, and more. Inspectors ensure that all work sites comply with storm water runoff, sediment, and dust control requirements as well as respond to citizen complaints and concerns. Inspectors manage the field operations of the City's capital projects as well as facilitate and coordinate the efforts of contractors, utility companies, and City workers during construction related to our Capital Improvement Program and development construction.
